Generalized anxiety disorder: according to Munir S; Takov V (2022), is a mental disorder characterized by worry, fear and a constant feeling of being overwhelmed.

Posttraumatic stress disorder: is a syndrome that results from exposure to threatened or real death, sexual assault or serious injury (Miao et al., 2018).

Hyperthyroidism is a pathological disorder of the thyroid gland characterized by excessive synthesis of the thyroid hormone. According to Doubleday & Sippel (2020), excessive thyroid hormones affect several organs, with patients presenting with disturbing symptoms, anxiety, fatigue, palpitations and others. Thyroid function tests will help to check thyroid hormone levels.
