Introduction and Alignment Organizations will inevitably experience change. This change can be internal, external, or a blend of both. By understanding organizational change including the characteristics of the forces that drive change as well as the nature of change, organizations and their leaders will be better prepared to respond to change and view change as an opportunity, rather than a threat. This can be your employer, a non-profit, a church, etc. As you reflect, recall a moment when the organization underwent considerable change. Write a 2-3 page reflection paper (not including title page and reference page), addressing the following: Part 1: Background Provide the details of the organization (i.e. name, industry, location, etc.) Summarize the change that occurred within the organization? (i.e. personnel, equipment, procedures, policy, laws, etc). Part 2: Analyze the Change Elaborate if the driver(s) of change was internal or external, explain why. Identify the nature of change (i.e., was it… incremental or transformation, proactive or reactive, planned or emergent). Part 3: Reaction Describe your reaction to the change. Explain the overall success of the change. Part 4: Conclusion Provide a summary with a conclusion statement. Part 5: Reference Page
