Overview In this assignment, you develop a detailed user profile for your chosen application. This user profile is an essential part of the product specifications and GUI design you develop later in the project.
Preparation Note: There will likely not be a single profile that depicts all users. Try to find common elements that paint a picture of dominant user characteristics.
Research the application’s anticipated target audience or users to understand their demographics, preferences, use cases, behaviors, goals, et cetera. Review examples of well-crafted user profiles to gain insights and refine your work. Consider using AI to assist you in developing your user profile. Do the following:
Justify your choice of at least 8 user attributes appropriate for creating a comprehensive user profile. Include multiple user attribute types, such as demographics, behaviors, preferences, requirements, etc. Create a user profile using your identified attributes with sufficient detail to inform an effective GUI design. Describe 3 plausible ways that your findings might influence subsequent design decisions. Provide a specific example for each. Include at least 3 citations to reliable and relevant sources to support your user profile. This course requires the use of Strayer Writing Standards (SWS).
