Topic: Apply psychological theories to analyse and explain a recent incident / event / example published or released within 12 months before the submission deadline. Examples of their sources are newspapers, movies, fiction, and songs.
Submission Deadline: 11/4/2026 (Sat) 22:00. Students are required to submit the assignment through Soul 3.0 before the submission due date. Marks will be deducted for late submission. A deduction of 3 marks (10%) will be imposed for every 24 hours or part thereof late.
Word Limit: 800 words. A 10% mark deduction penalty will be imposed if the paper falls short of or exceeds this range. Indicate the word count at the end of the paper and include a reference page at the end of the paper.
Assessment Criteria: Refer to the assessment rubric in the Appendix.
Requirements:
Include at least 4 PEER-REVIEWED academic journal articles from acceptable online databases (e.g., PsycArticles and PsycInfo).
Format:
Double-line spacing; 12-point font size; Times New Roman
Marks will be deducted for not conforming to the format, not including the word count, or exceeding the word limit.
The paper must follow APA citation and referencing format (7th ed.).
Similarity Level: Less than 30% (excluding cover page and references). If your work shows a similarity of more than 30%, it may result in a penalty and a “Fail” grade in this subject.
