argumantive essay. 750 words topic Even though some people think abortion is wrong, it should stay legal because banning it puts women’s lives in danger and because every woman has the right to make her own choices about her body. Abortion is one of the most talked-about topics in the United States today. For a long time, women had the legal right to get an abortion, but that changed in 2022 when the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, leaving it up to each state to decide. This has caused a lot of disagreement across the country. Even though some people think abortion is wrong, it should stay legal because banning it puts women’s lives in danger and because every woman has the right to make her own choices about her body. Every woman should have the right to decide what happens to her own body. Nobody can be forced by law to give blood or donate an organ to save someone else, so it is not fair to force a woman to go through a pregnancy she does not want. Taking away that choice means the government is controlling her body, and that is just not right. Making abortion illegal does not stop it from happening; it just makes it more dangerous. A long time ago before abortion was legal, many women got seriously hurt or died trying to end a pregnancy on their own. Women who do not have much money are hurt the most because they cannot travel to get safe help. Keeping abortion legal is about keeping women alive. Many people are against abortion because they believe life begins the moment a baby is conceived and that ending a pregnancy is wrong. This is an important point of view, and it makes sense why people feel that way. But not everyone believes the same thing, and laws have to be fair for all people, not just one group. It would not be right to force everyone to follow one belief. Abortion should stay legal because women deserve to be safe and to make their own decisions. Banning it does not stop it; it just makes it deadly. Even though some people disagree, laws should protect everyone equally. Every woman deserves the freedom to choose what is best for her own life and body.
