Describe what functionality serves the patient or provider-centered focus Scope of Use How will this technology or specific technology functionality be incorporated into nursing practice? Will nurses be the primary users, or will they delegate/supervise the use?   What role will nursing have in developing the process and policy related to the use of technology? Practice Considerations Information Security Describe information security requirements with the use of this new technology Use and Integration with the electronic health record (EHR) Describe how the new technology is integrated with the EHR (if applicable). If the application is not integrated with the EHR, how will the data obtained be documented in the patient chart? What data integrity issues might occur?
