Many working adults struggle with challenges such as housing insecurity, homelessness, and poverty despite being employed. This activity will help you examine the realities of the working poor and analyze homelessness data from the U.S. Census Bureau. Part II: Homelessness Data Analysis (30 Points) Review Table 8 (Page 14) in the Census Bureau report: Estimates of the Population Experiencing Homelessness and Living in SheltersLinks to an external site. Using Table 8, answer the following questions (5 points each): What is the total population of North Carolina? What is the estimated number of people experiencing homelessness in North Carolina? What is the total population of your state of residence? What is the estimated number of people experiencing homelessness in your state of residence? Which state has the largest population experiencing homelessness? Based on the data, what relationship do you see between population size and homelessness?
