This course includes one written assignment, due at the end of the term. The paper is designed to help you explain macroeconomic concepts in your own words, connect them to real-world events, and strengthen your writing and research skills.
Assignment Instructions:
• Choose one chapter from the course that interests you most.
• Summarize the key topics of that chapter in a clear, organized way.
• Apply the main concepts from the chapter to a real-world event or situation (current or historical).
• Support your analysis with relevant literature, showing how the key topics are applied and validated in practice.
• Provide concluding remarks that may include your own perspective, as long as they are supported by sound economic reasoning.
Format and Expectations:
• Minimum length: 4 pages (excluding title page and bibliography).
• Focus on quality of analysis and clarity of writing, not just length.
• Use a logical structure (introduction, body, conclusion).
• Include a thorough review of the literature on your chosen topic.
• Introduction and objective must be specific.
