The organization and community stakeholders that may be involved in my future practice change project include: primary care physicians, cardiologists, emergency department physicians, and nurses. It is important to identify these stakeholders in order to develop a plan of action that will be most effective for the interprofessional team. It is also important to consider the different needs of each stakeholder in order to ensure that everyone involved is satisfied with the project outcome. Primary care physicians will be responsible for leading and participating in the implementation of the future practice change project. They will be responsible for developing and implementing the plan of action with the help of the other stakeholders (Jordan et al., 2019). Cardiologists will be responsible for providing feedback on the plan of action and providing support to the primary care physicians. Emergency department physicians will be responsible for providing feedback on the plan of action and helping to ensure that patients are accommodated during the implementation process (Boaz et al., 2018). Lastly, nurses will be responsible for providing feedback on the plan of action and helping to ensure that patients are comfortable during the implementation process.
Analyze the barriers you might experience with these stakeholders with the proposed practice change.
Some of the barriers I may experience these stakeholders include disagreements about the best plan of action, lack of coordination between the different stakeholders, and a lack of understanding about the project (Saqlain et al., 2020). It will be important to ensure that all parties are on board with the proposed change in order to ensure a successful implementation.
