In this assessment, you will work in pairs to create ananalytical poster that examines key issues in early childhood education and care (ECEC).
The poster will draw on two major international reports explored during in-class workshops (e.g. UNESCO, World Bank, or OECD) to analyse how global perspectives and priorities influence the provision and quality of ECEC in Australia. Part A:Work in pairs.
You are required to work with a partner to produce ananalytical posterthat:
- Draws on two major reports reviewed during the unit (e.g. UNESCO, World Ba
nk, OECD), - Identifies and discusses 4 or 5 key issues that are central to enhancing and sustaining the provision and quality of ECEC, and
- Analyses these issues in relation to the Australian early childhood education and care context. Your poster should demonstrate:
- Clear understanding of the key ideas presented in the selected reports,
- Critical reflection on historical, philosophical, and contemporary influences on ECEC, and
- Informed judgement linking report findings to broader debates and quality considerations in Australia
