Located in a rural community, the only cancer center within a 60-mile radius provides radiation therapy only between the hours of 8am-noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays only. The local Department of Social Services (DSS) offers transportation services for in-town medical appointments only between the hours of 8am-5pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
