Assessed Report: Making a Strategic Review (65% of total Module mark)
The coursework will be a 2500 word individual report based on a strategic review of an organisation (a list of organisations is provided below). Your individual report MUST be your own work. Unfortunately I am unable to publish examples of previous student’s reports on Moodle, but seminar tutors will show examples of good and bad practice in seminars

- Appraise strategic issues at business & corporate levels using appropriate frameworks & evidence to identify, develop & recommend strategic options (LO2)
- Propose appropriate strategies for issue resolution & the strategic changes needed for their implementation (LO3)
Overview:
You are required to act in the role of external consultant and prepare a report based on the strategic challenge faced by a particular organisation to your seminar tutor who will adopt the role of the Chairman of the organisation. This will involve a number of tasks (see Figure 1)
