Project Brief You must present on the system you selected for Assignment 1. The presentation is 10 minutes in length and is followed questions. You are asked to cover:
a) The building and what the service must achieve in it.
b) The options considered.
c) The option selected and the reasoning, appraised against stated criteria.
d) The compliance position – the regulations and applicable TGD governing the selected system.
e) The commercial consequence – indicative installed costs and the life cycle position.
f) The recommendation you would put to the client, and what would change it.
Ten minutes does not allow the report to be delivered in full. You are being assessed on what you choose to leave out as much as on what you include.
Submission Details Your slides must be submitted in Brightspace as a single PDF the 29th of November. No other method of submission is permissible.
Slides should support the argument rather than carry the script; prompt cards may be used.
The presentation is strictly timed at 10 minutes. You will be stopped at 10 minutes and marked on what has been delivered with questions to follow
Your presentation will be graded as per the Rubric available on Brightspace.
