Discussion Thread: Sacrifice and Accountability

In this presentation, Dr. Scalise continues outlining 7 factors in creating good marriages. This Discussion Activity covers the last two: Sacrifice and Accountability.
What happens to two individuals when they marry? Discuss the challenges and rewards of becoming a couple. Be mindful that this is a process, not an event. Whether you have been married for a few days or a few decades, the task is ongoing.
Based on your knowledge and/or experience, discuss your own approach to teaching concepts related to sacrifice and accountability in marriage. Even if you are not married, approach this from a theoretical perspective.
Support your assertions and, of course, you may use scripture.
Discussion Assignment Instructions
The student will complete 6 Discussion Activities in this course. The student will post one thread of at least 500 words. For each thread, students must support their assertions with at least 2 scholarly references (with accompanying citations) in current APA format. Any sources cited must have been published within the last 12 years. Acceptable sources include our textbooks, scholarly articles, and the Bible.
