OBJECTIVE
The main purpose of this RP is to critically reflect your understanding of the:
1. “DASH Diet”.
2. ATKINS Diet.
3. Mediterranean Diet
This RP must have 5 pages, including cover page and references, and be presented on APA 7th
edition format. The maximum similarity allowed with other publications is no more than 25%
and more than 20% of Artificial Intelligence intervention will be penalized.
ASSIGNMENT GUIDELINES
Students will critically evaluate the existing publications related to this RP topic. This
assignment is planned to help you review, understand, and apply different concepts related
to previously mention Diets concepts, as well as to become familiar with the new trends related
to them.
You need to read two to four different articles related to the topics that can be found at the
FNU’s Library database LIRN. Librarian Assistants will be more than glad to assist you at both,
South and Hialeah Campus. Access code (user Name) for LIRN is 24439 log in and password
“onlinelibrary39”. In preparing the RP, you are also allowed to use two to four web references,
although all the publications and references used should be properly cited and included in the
reference section following the APA 7th edition format guidelines.
ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
This RP must include:
1. Introduction: provide a brief synopsis of the subjects under discussion:
a. “DASH Diet”.
b. ATKINS Diet.
c. Mediterranean Diet
2. Definition of concepts related to these subjects: for example, how the body physiology is
affected? Clinical uses, purpose of the diets, function, importance, nutritional factors for each
diet.
3. Conclusions and recommendations. You must express your own opinion on the benefit and
site effects of the tree Diets.
ASSIGNMENT DUE DATE
Due Date: June 14th, 2026.
The Research Paper must have at least 5 pages including front and references. Do not COPY &
PASTE. Maximum similarity allowed 25 %. From 25 to 40 % the grade will be prorated. More
than 40 % the grade earned will be Zero (0). If you decide not to submit the Research paper, your
grade for this task will be 0.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) intervention must be avoided, therefore more than 20 % of AI
intervention will be penalized.
The assignment is to be electronically posted via TURNITIN. The TURNITIN link could be
founded in the Research Paper folder.
