opportunity to expand your knowledge on one of the topics that we have
covered in our course. 

Instructions:

Watch the video: Shelter Video The video is a documentary that runs for approximately one hour and
twenty minutes. Please allow adequate time to complete this assignment. WARNING:
The video is graphic in places.  (Transcript available in the weekly
content)
After watching the video, you will write a reflection paper addressing the
following:

• As you watch
  this video in this, note the different teens they spotlight. Which story
  stands out most (summarize it) and why?

• How does that
  story relate what is known about poverty, homelessness, and pregnant
  teens? Use information from the readings, lessons, or other appropriate
  research to support your writing.

• What are your
  thoughts about the staff who work with those teens? The work they do
  takes work. What qualities do you see in them that enable them to do
  what they do?

• Conclude your
  entry with your “takeaways” – what did you learn, agree with,
  disagree with, want to learn more about, etc.? How do you feel about
  what you watched? 

Deliverable:

A 3–4-page reflection paper that addresses each of the questions above
and is supported by a minimum of 3 appropriate sources. Your paper should
include an APA formatted cover page, 3-4 content pages and an APA formatted
reference page. In-text citations must be used where needed. 

Formatting: 

• Use APA Style
  (most current edition) for citations and references.

• Include a
  title page and a reference page (not included in the page count). An
  abstract is not required for this assignment.

• Use 12-point
  Times New Roman font, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins.

Submission: 

• Upload your
  assignment as a word document. Do not put your assignment in the
  submission box.
